Chiasso noise volume
Hi! I built a Chiasso and I'm having a lot of fun with this module! But I noticed that the noise volume is quite low, even when turned up all the way. Is there a resisitor value I can change in order to increase the volume? Or should I change the noise transistor, I hear they can be quite different regarding the noise output...

Yes, the noise level can vary between individual transistors. However, the easiest and most predictable way to increase it is to change R8 from 1.5M to 2.2M. This increases the gain of the noise amplifier without changing the noise generator itself.
If that's still too quiet, you could try 3.3M. Changing Q7 may also affect the level, but the result is less predictable.
