Utilities & PSU uit / trs balanced output / 4 HP ⇣ UIT is a balanced output module that supplies an active output on the cold terminal of the TRS jacks, producing the same signal as the hot terminal but phase-inverted. This allows stable driving of long cables at low noise levels. It is based on high-performance, fully differential operational amplifiers and laser-trimmed thin-film resistors that exibit low noise and distortion and a wide output swing. 1/4 key features TRS Balanced Output Low Noise and Low Distortion Headphone Output Volume Control Phantom Power Protection PCB Outputs for Case Mounted Jacks Wrong polarity protection specs & downloads width: 4 HP depth: 35 mm power: 31 mA @ +12V / 25 mA @ -12V documentation videos description / manual This module offers two TRS 6.3mm jacks that provide the BALANCED OUTPUT signal and a TRS 3.5mm HEADPHONE OUTPUT. Both have dedicated VOLUME potentiometers with +6dB gain. Two LEDs indicate the level of both incoming signals. The left input is normalized to the right input if there is no signal present. The outputs are protected against unwanted phantom power voltages. There are also PCB outputs available if you want to solder case/cabin mounted output jacks directly to the UIT PCB. UIT is supposed to be the last module in your modular chain and connects the modular world with any other studio or stage input equipment. prev Up next
- Cyllene
Oscillator cyllene / classic analog vco with three sub-octaves / 12 HP ⇣ Presenting timeless waveforms including Sine, Triangle, Pulse and 3 Sub-Octaves this oscillator emerges as an exceptionally stable, precise, and awe-inspiring sonic source. Its brilliance truly emerges when engaged in frequency modulation. 1/3 key features Classic Analog VCO 4 Outputs: SINE, TRIANGLE, PULSE, SUB Oscillation from supersonic to sub-audible (LFO) 1V/Octave tracking Pulse Width Modulation with Attenuator Linear Frequency Modulation with Attenuator Exponential Frequency Modulation with Attenuator Integrated Frequency Divider Up to 3 Sub-octaves Attenuator for each Sub-octave Wrong Polarity Protection specs & downloads width: 12 HP depth: 28 mm power: 26 mA @ +12V / 19 mA @ -12V documentation videos description / manual Functioning as a quintessential VCO, it boasts a 1V/OCT input, both linear and exponential frequency modulation inputs, and comprehensive control over pulse width modulation. To manage incoming control voltage effectively, dedicated attenuators accompany each of the aforementioned inputs. Cyllene's oscillation spans the gamut from supersonic to sub-audible frequencies, endowing it with the versatility to serve as an LFO if desired. Beyond the realm of classic VCO attributes, Cyllene incorporates an integrated frequency divider. Through the SUB output jack, it delivers up to 3 sub-octaves in relation to the original signal. Fine-tuning the volume of each sub-octave is facilitated by the potentiometer seamlessly connected to SUB 0-8. By toggling the SUB ORIG switch, the choice between the original signal and a generated square wave on the initial octave is at your fingertips. Furthermore, the SUB WAVE Switch allows you to designate the source wave for the frequency divider. prev Up next
- Tryfelo
Modulation & Random tryfelo / 8hp triple re-settable lfo with clock divider / 8 HP ⇣ Introducing a Triple Re-Settable LFO with Clock Divider – a powerhouse of precision and versatility. With three synchronized LFOs at your command, you're not just shaping sound, you're sculpting time itself. Perfectly in sync, precisely re-settable, and elegantly compact, this module elevates your modular experience to a new level of control and creativity. 1/3 key features Three Square and Triangle Wave LFOs Individual LFO Rates CV Attenuator per LFO Reset all LFOs in connection to single Trigger/Clock Clockdivider per LFO Selectable Clockdivision Rates per LFO Variation creates alternative Rythmical Reset-Patterns Skiff friendly Wrong polarity protection specs & downloads width: 8 HP depth: 30 mm power: 45 mA @ +12V / 32 mA @ -12V documentation videos description / manual Tryfelo has three LFOs that can be reset by a single clock/trigger signal. Each LFO produces either a triangle or a square wave selectable via switch. In the mid position of the switch the LFO is deactivated. You may change the LFO´s rate with the help of a dedicated potentiometer. There are also CV attenuators per LFO available. Three bipolar LEDs are indicating the current state of the voltages. The LFO rate available increases from LFO 1 to LFO 3. LFO 1 will produce fast oscillating waves, whereas LFO 3 will provide very slowly changing control voltages. LFO speeds may be changed individually by choosing different capacitor values during assembly. Each LFO is internally connected to a clock divider that will reset the LFO cycle in connection to an incoming trigger/clock and even holds the LFO value when the clock divider pulse is high. During a hold phase there are still slow voltage movements on low LFO rates to keep a pause interesting. This way you can connect the LFOs to a rhythmical context and create pauses in a very musical way. The clock divider needs a trigger or clock signal at the CLK input, that will be converted into a pulse to create these pauses/holds mentioned above. The length of the pulse depends on the speed of the clock. Slower clocks or clock divisions will create longer pulses. The incoming trigger/clock signal will be divided by 2 or 4 for LFO 1, by 4 or 8 for LFO 2 and by 8 or 16 for LFO 3 selectable via switch. The LFO reset may also be deactivated by setting the dedicated switches to the mid position. Each divided signal may also be taken from the individual clock outputs for further external processing. The RST input will accept any trigger/pulse/clock signal and resets the clock division for all LFOs. VARI accepts any control voltage and produces rhythmical variations of the clock divisions. These variations are not purely random, but will generate alternative trigger patterns in connection to the incoming clock/trigger signal prev Up next
- Midi Thru | ST Modular
MIDI THRU serves as an operational MIDI multiplier, enabling a 1 to 5 connection, utilizing 3.5mm TRS jacks. In contemporary times, numerous devices incorporate TRS jacks for their MIDI connectivity. To establish connections with standard MIDI cables, you would require 3.5mm stereo audio jack plugs to MIDI DIN 5-pin adapters. Additionally, the majority of MIDI tools are exclusively designed with traditional MIDI DIN jacks. This is where the functionality of MIDI THRU becomes evident. midi thru / active 1x5 trs midi thru / 0 HP ⇣ MIDI THRU serves as an operational MIDI multiplier, enabling a 1 to 5 connection, utilizing 3.5mm TRS jacks. The input signal is actively multiplied to 5 TRS-Type A outputs. An LED indicates if a MIDI signal is being processed. MIDI THRU is powered via USB-C. Since it is an active device, it can only be used in one direction. Therefore, the outputs cannot be used as inputs.
