Give II not working properly

Hi,

I've put together a Give II (2018 Version) and sadly it is not working properly. It only puts out a ~1Hz wave. Pulse width pot is working alright. Tuning pots are not having any effect on the pitch. I've resoldered everything and checked resistor and capacitor values and ICs, diodes and transistors. Now I'm out of options. Are there schematics anywhere? Or any idea, what could be wrong?

I would be very grateful for a hint...

Hey Jogin, I've just shared the schematics with you. Please pay attention to IC1 and TP1, perform another reflow, and double-check for shorts and the values of the soldered components. Additionally, it's a good idea to verify if pin 1 and 3 of both pitch potentiometers (tune and fine) receive +12V and -12V on their respective sides. Best, Stefan

thanks a ton!!!

I believe I had a microscopically small solder bridge between two legs of TP1, and after I reflowed all ICs and trannies I at least got into an audible (but unstable) pitch range. So I replaced IC1 that looked a bit dodgy and boom! – I have a working VCO now 😅😍

What I've heard so far the mixing section is awesome and the three sub octave squares mixed in sound just plain massive. Great!

Looking forward to run this beauty into Rocinante's Gate and Delay V2 😀
