Mixer & VCA μ sum / moog cp3 based 3-channel analog mixer with eq & mute switches / 8 HP ⇣ μSUM is the successor of KNEAD and has an improved circuitry and PCB layout. It was inspired by the famous MOOG CP3-Type Mixer. The circuit adds some nice harmonic distortion to the signal with heavy clipping, if the inputs are turned to the maximum. As the mix is bussed passively turning one input up may result in a reduction of the other inputs. Therefore the output cannot exceed any other input´s level providing auto-leveling on high volumes. 1/3 key features CP3 Transistor-Based Analog Mixer 3 Audio Channels 3x EQ 3x Mute Switch 3x Signal LEDs MIX Volume Skiff friendly Wrong polarity protection specs & downloads width: 8 HP depth: 30 mm power: 56 mA @ +12V / 45 mA @ -12V documentation videos description / manual There are three potentiometers to adjust the LEVEL for each signal. Additionally you may change the frequencies of each channel by turning the EQ knobs. EQ will boost high frequencies turning the knob clockwise and boost low frequencies turning it counter-clockwise. On top you will find MUTE switches for easy sound comparison or live mixing. LEDs will indicate if a signal is passed through. The LED´s brightness can be set with trim potentiometers for each channel. The MIX VOL knob controls the volume of the summed signal being supplied at the OUT Jack. Knead Expander has been omitted on the μSUM Mixer. prev Up next

Mixer & VCA send / aux send & return / 8 HP ⇣ SEND serves as an excellent performance tool, enabling direct interaction with external effects affecting your sounds. 1/3 key features 2x AUX Send & Return 2x Tone Control Input Level Attenuator LED Indication Wrong polarity protection specs & downloads width: 8 HP depth: 35 mm power: 25 mA @ +12V / 15 mA @ -12V documentation videos description / manual SEND is a send and return unit you may know from ordinary mixers. It has a mono INPUT with a LEVEL attenuator and any signal fed in is sent directly to the stereo outputs OUT L and OUT R. If you turn SEND A to the right, you can adjust the portion of the signal that is sent to the SEND A output. This can then be fed into an external effect and returned in mono or stereo to the upper RETURN (L) and RETURN (R) inputs. The TONE potentiometer accentuates either low (turn to the left) or high frequencies (turn to the right) of the signal routed to the send output. Leave it in the centre position so that the frequencies are not affected. The same applies to SEND B, the lower inputs RETURN (L) and RETURN (R) and the corresponding potentiometers SEND B and TONE. Both send s can be used simultaneously. Two LEDs indicate if a signal is sent to the send output. Gain trimmers are located on the front panel to adjust the gain of the send signal. prev Up next

Modulation & Random zeitreise / sample & hold, slew limiter and meandering cv generator / 6 HP ⇣ ZEITREISE is about the slow sequence of events that helps to take voltage on a journey through time. Its your perfect tool for creating slow and unpredictable parameter changes via control voltage. 1/2 key features Clock Generator Sample & Hold Slew Limiter 3x Slowly Meandering CV Noise Generator Internal Normalizations Skiff Friendly Wrong Polarity Protection specs & downloads width: 6 HP depth: 30 mm power: 60 mA @ +12V / 45 mA @ -12V documentation videos description / manual ZEITREISE is the German term for "time travel" and the time in this context is a clock signal that is set using the S&C CLK potentiometer on the top of the module. It´s rate can be as slow as 0.2 Hz ( approximately 12 bpm) and as fast as 21 Hz (approximately 1,236 bpm). This clock signal is sent to the internal Sample & Hold (S&H) circuit. A S&H circuit in modular synthesizers captures and holds voltage samples at specific intervals, usually triggered by an external clock, creating a stepped output that is useful for generating random or sequenced voltages for modulation. With ZEITREISE, any voltage applied to the S&H CV input is sampled, held and output to the S&H OUT socket with each clock pulse received, either externally via the S&H CLK input or, if this input is not patched, via the internal clock generator. You can reduce the voltage applied to the S&H CV input with the corresponding attenuator. The S&H output is forwarded to a slew limiter. A slew limiter smoothes or limits abrupt voltage changes and ensures controlled slew rates of the input signals, resulting in smoother transitions and curved waveforms for modulation and sound shaping. The amount of slew rate that attenuates the voltage changes can be increased by turning the SLEW IN potentiometer to the right. You can also feed external CVs, such as pitch voltages, into ZEITREISE via the SLEW IN socket. This allows you to create a portamento effect for tonal sequences. Below the S&H and slew limiter you will find three meandering CV outputs REISE EINS, REISE ZWEI and REISE DREI that slowly change their voltage levels (+0V to +8V). The voltages come from different stages within the same circuit. Take these voltages from the REISE outputs and reduce their voltage levels with the appropriate attenuators. Please note that the LEDS display the voltage levels before the attenuators to provide better feedback on the status of each REISE output. These voltages are great for slowly controlling external parameters such as sample playback points in samplers, filter cutoff frequencies or timbre and harmonics in oscillators. There is an additional output at the bottom, which supplies either the clock from the S&H CLK input (patched or normalized) or white noise. You can select one of these outputs using a jumper on the back of the module. ZEITREISE QUICK START GUIDE: ZEITREISE_QUICK_START .pdf Download PDF • 566KB prev Up next

- Workmates | ST Modular
WORKMATES is a series of little passive 0HP modules that offer simple but effective audio and CV processing in conjunction with your modular or semi-modular synth. Note that these are passive modules without any power consumption. As a result, you will have a bit of signal level reduction when patching a WORKMATE within your modular processing chain. Nevertheless these little helpers are very convenient solution providers if you run out of HP. workmates / passive eurorack tools / 0 HP ⇣ WORKMATES is a series of little passive 0HP modules that offer simple but effective audio and CV processing in conjunction with your modular or semi-modular synth. Note that these are passive modules without any power consumption. As a result, you will have a bit of signal level reduction when patching a WORKMATE within your modular processing chain. Nevertheless these little helpers are very convenient solution providers if you run out of HP. They are also the easiest way to learn SMD soldering. Practice your soldering skills without any fear of shorts and magic smoke. passat PASSAT is a fully passive 4-channel attenuator featuring four smooth sliders for intuitive level control. Each input has its own dedicated slider, allowing you to reduce the signal level by moving the slider downward. At the lowest position, no signal is sent to the output. At the highest position, the input signal is passed through unchanged. Input 1 is internally normalized to inputs 2–4. If no cable is connected to inputs 2–4, the signal from input 1 is automatically routed to those channels. This allows PASSAT to act as a simple passive signal multiple with individual attenuation per channel. As a completely passive design, PASSAT requires no power and does not consume any of your precious case HP. It is an ideal utility for controlling multiple audio or CV sources from a single point. Use PASSAT to attenuate Eurorack audio signals to line level, mix multiple CV sources, or precisely scale control voltages for sensitive module inputs. pix PIX is a passive mixer with 3 stereo inputs and 1 stereo output. Each channel has its own volume control and tilt EQ. With the EQ you can emphasize either low or high frequencies. Due to its passive design, a very compact format could be realized, with dimensions of only 55mm x 65mm. It was designed for use with modular level inputs, which are further processed by line-level devices with volume amplification. You can also use this mixer with line-level synthesizers, but you will lose quite a bit of volume. If too much gain is then used in the downstream processing chain, the noise floor can be raised to an uncomfortable level. Nevertheless, PIX has been used successfully with line-level signals. It has an input impedance of around 1.2kΩ at 1kHz. PIX is your solution for compact mixing requirements in a mobile modular setup. split Splits MIC MONO INPUT and STEREO OUTPUT signals to individual jacks from TRRS Combo Jack. The microphone input has a level potentiometer. Ideal for easy sampling and mixing with devices like OP-Z or tablets. touch TOUCH is a passive, touch-sensitive attenuator. Any signal applied to the input jack passes through your skin to the output jack. Depending on the amount of pressure and the moisture of your finger, the resistance decreases, allowing a larger portion of the signal to pass through. trs switch TRS MIDI type A to/from TRS MIDI type B adapter. Swaps the tip and ring of a 3.5mm stereo jack. Ideal for connecting TRS MIDI devices with different TRS MIDI standards (e.g. Novation device with KORG device). lpg LPG is a passive vactrol based low pass gate. It also has a passive low pass filter for subtle tone control. By choosing different kind of vactrols you will achieve contrasting kind of gate responses, from lush and slow to very fast and snappy. clipping cat CLIPPING CAT is a passive distortion that can blend between hard clipping crossover distortion and softened LED clipping that is only applied to negative peaks of the signal. Hence you can control the type of distortion from harsh clipping to a rather subtle distortion with more even order harmonics. “Clipping Cat” will wink if you turn the potentiometer counter-clockwise for softened distortion and will stare at you with both eyes turning it clockwise for harsh clipping. Clipping Cat is also availbable as an active 3U module! swap SWAP exchanges the destination of one or two sources (audio or CV) with the push of a button. This way you can route two different signals to the corresponding destination of the other input or route one signal to either one of two patch cables. You may also use it as a simple on/off switch. There might be audible clicks when using it to swap/switch audio. combiner COMBINER is either a 4 to 1 Passive Mixer, an or-wired Trigger/Gate Combiner or a 1 to 4 Passive Mult. Before soldering you have to decide which functionality you prefer. If you solder resistors you will get a four-channel mixer and if you solder diodes you will have a trigger/gate combiner. For a Passive Mult you just need to short the pads mentioned in the BOM. eq EQ is a one knob low and high frequency EQ with mid frequency range control. Turning the knob counter-clockwise will filter out frequencies above 1kHz and turning it clockwise will filter out frequencies below 1kHz. Not filtered frequencies are emphasized a bit to have a sharper sound when lower frequencies are filtered and to have more bass when higher frequencies are filtered. The little mid frequency range knob moves the cutoff range around 1kHz and changes how much the not filtered frequencies are emphasized. attenuator ATT is a simple attenuator that allows level control over CV or audio signals. If you want to use it for audio and you don´t have a logarithmic pot at hand, you have the option to use a linear potentiometer and solder an additional resistor for a fake logarithmic response. videos Up

- Flitzem Deför
Sequencer flitzem deför / brute sequencer and clock divider / 10 HP ⇣ Flitzem Deför excels as a sequencer for crafting concise, repetitive techno sequences and swift manual sequence alterations. 1/3 key features 4-Step Step Analog Sequencer 3x individual CV Outs to control 3 Oscillators at once 3 Different Sequence Modes: Forwards, Attenuverted, Offset or CV controlled, Backwards Clock or Trigger Through 2x Clock or Trigger Divider adjustable via two Switches Apply Sequence Variations with two Switches Reset CV Input Direction CV input Perfect for Techno Sequences Wrong Polarity Protection specs & downloads width: 10 HP depth: 28 mm power: 45 mA @ +12V / 42 mA @ -12V documentation videos description / manual The FLITZEM DEFÖR is a 4-step sequencer with 3 individual CV outputs. OUT A is providing a 4-step sequence playing forwards. OUT B will output the same as OUT A, but the sequence CV may be attenuverted or offset with the help of two potentiometers. Additionally there is a CV input that may change the pitch of OUT B. In this case the second potentiometer from top right will be an attenuverter for the incoming CV signal. OUT C is playing the same sequence as OUT A, but backwards. In order to trigger other modules in sync there is a CLK OUT that will provide a buffered copy of the incoming CLK or trigger signal. Furthermore the incoming clock or trigger is divided by 2 or 8 and 4 or 16 on the dedicated clock outputs. The division my be changed with two switches. If you like to alternate the sequence of the three CV outputs, there are two switches that will forward the divided clock signals to the sequencer´s clock input. This way you will instantly create breaks, variations and more complex sequences. A trigger signal into the RST input jack will reset the sequencer. Any CV applied to DIR will change the direction. By using the RST and DIR inputs and the four clock division and change switches you will be able to achieve very rhythmical, versatile and interesting sequences you might not expect from a 4-step sequencer. The 3 CV outputs are especially made to control three separate oscillators at once to create brute and heavy sounds and sequences that will surely shake every dancefloor. The attenuvertion on OUT B is super handy to create detune and octave shifting effects and subbasslines that fit the sequence automatically. prev Up next
