I've built a Boba Fat based on a kit from pusherman, so with all SMD already assembled. While the module in principle works fine, the LFO for the soft mallet feels wrong: Depending on the modular depth and more prominently the LFO stops. Only when the Mod Rate is above ~80%, the LFO starts to swing, and when it has started I think one can go a little under 80% Mod Rate, but in principle it just stops there. Before it stops it is not super slow (maybe 2 Hz).
I will add more exact information about the maximal and minimal LFO rate, and also a video of this behavior if needed. Both potis (Mod Rate and Depth) should have the same value, so I guess I could not have mixed them up.
Any help is appreciated!
I updated my initial post (needs review) with a video. Nothing is running, no triggers/gates are sent to the module - but just by the LED indicator of the LFO it should be pretty clear.
Hey Co, Is the MOD SYNC switch set to the bottom position? It's possible that the LFO is running very slowly (below ~80% of Mod Rate) while the gate (which restarts the LFO when Mod Sync is active) is firing so quickly that the LFO doesn't have a chance to complete its cycle. Thanks,
Stefan
